About the Show
“Speaking With…”
is a dynamic 30-minute program that gives the audience the opportunity to be
informed, inspired and entertained. The program features a variety of topics
addressed by guests from many walks of life. Physicians, musicians, authors,
businesswomen and more have been hosted on this lively show. The main purpose of Speaking
With… is to encourage harmony by affording listeners the chance to hear
about the challenges and triumphs faced by various races and both genders as
well as various professions to name a few. At times I facilitate discussion
of topics and issues that tend to divide people along racial lines or gender
lines. At other times I facilitate discussions that encourage the listeners
to take interest in health matters as it pertains to various sectors of our
community. But then I also host guests who offer words of inspiration along
a varied list, including overcoming spousal abuse. Again, my primary goal is
to encourage people to embrace one another. My approach is a positive one
that many find appealing. Speaking With… also serves as
a venue to challenge the way we view situations and determine how our views
affect our responses to real world circumstances as we discuss our positions
regarding male/female relationships, political stances, religious positions
and more. With this venue, I choose not to mandate any particular position.
Rather, I encourage each listener to identify their own position and the
reason for that position while also evaluating for themselves whether they
have approached the topic with integrity and fairness. Previous Guests have
